UBNT.com is the primary marketing channel for Ubiquiti Networks and serves as a portal for information on products, events, training, support and more. The site showcases Ubiquiti’s latest hardware and software offerings for enterprise products including carrier-class broadband technology, enterprise wireless, video surveillance and more.
As creative director, I oversaw the the complete redesign of the site, working both hands on as a designer as well as leading and coordinating the cross-functional efforts of designers, front-end developers, copywriters and business stakeholders. The site was created from early proof-of-concept prototypes to get buy-in on the creative direction; UX documentation including gathering requirements, information architecture, user-flows and wireframes; design, development and production. I also worked closely with the development team to define the IA and requirements for implementing a CMS, allowing the company to announce and provide detailed information on new products with a speed and frequency it had lacked prior to the redesign.
