Unnamed Glyph (Glyph Drawing No. 1) marks a new series with shift toward systematic compositional structure. Building on techniques and material application of previous drawings, a three-by-four grid was introduced as scaffolding for geometry, guiding the placement and proportion of positive and negative shapes. The work balances intuitive composing with a calculated, rigid framework, exploring how the grid alters and regulates relationships between forms. Texture continues to play a central role, with charcoal applied to create a soft, almost fuzzy surface, blending formal rigor with material exploration.

This first work in the series repeats the cantilevered forms of the previous series, maintaining the theme Brutalist-inspired architectural silhouettes. The size, shape and position of the triangular cut-ins are now locked to the new grid.
